Defining yourself is a big question. One thing's for sure, I am and always have been in action!
When I was younger, I was passionate about martial arts, and for a long time I found a certain balance in dynamic practices.
After looking for a career, I trained as a bodyguard. So it's an action profession, and as a child my favorite toy was Action Man :D
But it was a job that threw my life, my mindset, my rhythm and potentially my family off balance.
It was then that I took a professional turn, training first as a sports educator, then with a 200h yoga course and Thai massage training.
My life literally changed, prioritizing my body, my well-being, instituting routines, and discovering a passion for anatomy.
Always looking for a challenge, I started handstand at the same time as yoga. I already felt that this discipline was calling me, challenging me but also bringing me a tremendous sense of well-being, a meditation in movement.
I practised for hours and hours on end, sometimes to the point of obsession and injury. I then followed online programs, took private lessons, attended training courses abroad to perfect my skills and understand movement. I went to the best circus performers, gymnasts and top-level athletes.
I then built my own method, identified the best drills and began to accompany my students in their quest for the handstand and, more generally, for movement.
The handstand lab was born! A specific training method, inspired by my own experience, to achieve handstand success, learn to move the body with precision and acquire specific skills. I take a global approach, understanding the anatomy of movement and analyzing posture.
I draw my inspiration from disciplines such as yoga, pilates and physical preparation. In the Lab, I share my tips, my exercises and my discerning eye to help my students go as far as possible in this beautiful practice.
